Elegance, beauty and imagination come out in wedding photography. What better way to inspire our own weddings than to gather up the most exciting collections that we can find!
September was an exciting month for real and designer wedding shoots. Take a peek at our favourites!
This is styled collection compiled by Emily over at Bespoke Bride. My favourite part of this shoot is that, while every aspect of the decor, clothing and photography fits together, it all stands out against our expected norms. It feels like the entire wedding happened in a dream.
C.K. Alexander pulled these photos together and what the wedding lacks in dreaminess it makes up for in emotion. The photo shoot picked up on the whole spectrum of emotions, following the experience of two high school sweethearts at the altar.
Emily from I Love Farm Weddings brings us one of the most down to earth weddings I’ve seen. The farm wedding takes advantage of the calming farm atmosphere, with the subtle contrasts of a suited groom and white-clad bride against the simple backdrop of leafless fall trees and the always-lovely blooming cherry blossom trees.
Let’s Do This Thing! Christen Moynihan from the Broke Ass Bride shared what looks like a wedding that didn’t miss out on the finer points. The small town vibe was really personalized, down to skipping sparklers or blossoms for walking out of the church. Nope, it had to be paper airplanes!
Any bride who relates to the countryside will feel inspired by these portraits. Mary McLeod over at Oncewed shared this beautifully shot album taken out in the Virgnia countryside.
What really caught my eye were the creative shots showing off the bride’s personality and marrying it to the environment.
Thought we’d be sticking with the country and farm theme? Nope! Hot Pink Brides brings us… actually not hot pink brides! White, yellow, blue and green bridesmaids and groomsmen make for an exciting bouquet of colours, and the decor somehow manages to keep up the theme without exhausting the eyes.
This wedding must have kept the photographer busy, and it’ll definitely keep your imagination engaged!
If you could pick any colours for your bridesmaid’s dresses, would they be rich pinks and bold purples? Modernly Wed shows us how to do that Abigail and Andre’s wedding. I can definitely relate to the groomsmen’s choice of footwear, not sure how they managed to get it past the planning committee though!
